This role will be working in our world-class rolling and finishing operations for the Specialty Rolled Products business unit. Applicants must pass written tests to verify reading & math skills and electrical & mechanical aptitude.\nIn order to attract top talent, ATI is currently offering a sign-on bonus of $3,000for this position (with $1,500 paid at start and $1,500 paid after completion of 6 months).\nEssential Functions of This Role:\nOperate both small and large mobile equipment\nOperate cranes using a remote radio control box or in an overhead cab\nWork with a team in the various facilities to produce world class plate products. Some tasks require routine interaction with computer interfaces.\nAssist and support routine maintenance activities\nBasic Qualifications\n1 year of experience in a transferrable industry with transferrable skills.\nBasic reading, math, and measurement comprehension. Ability to read instructions, do basic math and perform simple measurements is critical.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent, Vo-Tech Certificate or associate degree in electrical, mechanical or other related curriculum\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nAbility and willingness to operate and/or maintain a variety of operating units,\nWork shifts, weekends, and overtime in an industrial environment.\nDemonstrated ability to work safely as a team member.\nReading, math & problem-solving skills with electrical or mechanical aptitude.\nWethrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
