With unique insights and experience, we help shape what the nation is drinking.\nPlease note this will be to work on a 12 month fixed term contract.\nAbout the Role\nTo undertake daily / weekly / monthly activities in order for the Packaging Department to meet KPI requirements for cost, quality, service and behaviours through agreed ways of working.\nKey Accountabilities\nComply with all Statutory & Legal requirements\nComply with all Safety, Health & Environment requirements\nComply with any appropriate packaging or food hygiene safety regulations as defined by policy or legislation, such as HACCP\nComply with all Product & Process Quality requirements\nComply with all Housekeeping, Cleaning & 5S requirements\nComply with basic asset care requirements. This is a requirement for all operators, not just those that previously had the Asset Care grade\nOperate Packaging Equipment in order to ensure the department delivers finished goods of the right quality, at the right time and at the right cost to the logistics department\nUndertake improvement activities to ensure the department meets all of it’s KPI (Key Performance Indicators) Targets, such as Short Interval Control (SIC)\nUndertake training for new skills & tasks within Packaging Department in line with PDPs. The primary objective being to up-skill those with fewer skills.\nUndertake any packaging related tasks, as directed by the First Line Manager.\nAttend Meetings & Briefings as necessary.\nComply with all documentation and transactions required to operate and improve performance in the department.\nEnsure that all internal customer requirements are met.\nUnderstanding of food safety requirements within the role\nAbout you\nEnglish & Mathematics Standard Grades or equivalent.\nPackaging or Engineering based qualification an advantage\nPackaging and or Engineering experience an advantage\nAll operational training to be able to do the role is provided\nFLT License where appropriate (Empty Can Store/Keg Palletiser)\nComputer Literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages\nAbout Us\nOperating through the Matthew Clark, Bibendum, Tennent’s and Bulmers Ireland brands, the Group has a market leading range, scale and reach including an intimate understanding of the markets it serves.\nTogether we grow, brew, manufacture, market, and deliver some of the world’s favourite drinks.
