In this role, you will lead the execution of diverse generation and energy-focused projects, working alongside industry experts to deliver innovative solutions across power and thermal systems, district energy networks, renewable technologies, and utility infrastructure programs that create lasting value for our clients.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead proposal development and create clear scopes, schedules, and budgets in coordination with technical teams\nServe as the primary client partner, addressing needs proactively and ensuring strong communication throughout each project\nDevelop project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and direct task coordination across multidisciplinary project teams\nManage project schedules, deliverables, approvals, and quality controls to keep work on track and aligned with contract requirements\nOversee project financials-including budgets, forecasts, revenue, and cash flow-maintaining strong financial performance\nDirect contract administration, subcontractor coordination, and critical project documentation\nLead regular project meetings and provide timely progress updates to clients and internal stakeholders\nSupport marketing efforts, help identify new opportunities, and contribute to the growth of CHA’s Generation & Energy Management portfolio\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Science, Planning, Engineering Management, or related field required\nMinimum of 9 years of industry experience required, including 6 years of project management experience\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license required\nExperience with substation design, district energy, or power generation projects strongly preferred\nPrior design engineering experience preferred\nProven ability to manage client relationships and interpret client contract requirements\nDemonstrated experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents required\nExperience managing project accounting processes-including forecasting, budgeting, revenue, and cash flow-required\nExperience using Microsoft Office Suite required; familiarity with MS Project, Primavera P6, or Deltek Vision preferred\nProven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment\nAbility to solve problems independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership skills with the ability to adapt style for various audiences\nAbility to travel as needed required\nConsulting industry experience highly preferred\nWhy You'll Love It Here:\nManage diverse assignments spanning power generation, thermal systems, renewable energy, district energy, and utility infrastructure initiatives\nExpand your leadership impact by mentoring project teams, building strong client relationships, and helping shape solutions from strategy through execution\nCurious about the impactful work our Generation & Energy Management team is doing?
