This is a senior level leadership role for a proven project manager and business developer who is ready to grow client relationships, lead complex projects, and help expand CHA’s presence across the Southeast.\nAs a Senior Project Manager at CHA, you will lead land development projects from pursuit through delivery-ensuring they are executed on time, within scope, and on budget-while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction and financial performance. Approximately 50% of this role is dedicated to business development, including leveraging existing client relationships, pursuing new opportunities, and driving repeat work.\nThis position is ideal for a professional who combines technical expertise with strong client-facing and leadership skills and is motivated by growing both projects and people.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead and deliver land development projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality\nServe as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term relationships and expanding client accounts\nActively pursue new business by leveraging an established professional network, identifying leads, and executing client pursuit strategies\nPrepare and oversee proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documentation\nManage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, billing, and cash flow\nInterpret and administer client contracts and ensure compliance with contractual requirements\nCollaborate across disciplines and offices to deliver integrated solutions\nMentor and motivate team members while fostering strong internal relationships\nRepresent CHA through networking, industry involvement, and client engagement\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor’s Degree in related technical field required\nMinimum of11 years of professional experience, including 8 years of project management experience required\nProfessional Engineer (PE) or Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) license required\nDemonstrated success expanding client bases, winning pursuits, and driving revenue growth\nAn established network of clients capable of generating new business opportunities\nStrong experience managing client relationships and complex, multi-project workloads\nProven ability to prepare proposals, manage project development, and support organizational growth goals\nSolid understanding of project accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash management\nProficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and the Microsoft Office Suite\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence and adapt to diverse audiences\nStrong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently\nWillingness and ability to travel as needed\nWhy You'll Love It Here:\nLead impactful land development projects that shape communities while balancing environmental, regulatory, and stakeholder considerations\nStrengthen your leadership and project management skills within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment\nFlexible work environment with opportunities for local and occasional travel\nCurious about the impactful work our Land Development team is doing?
