are actively hiring for the positions of Cutter Machine Operator for our plant in Arlignton , TX.\nShifts\n1st shift 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday - Friday\n\nDuties & Responsibilities\nAccess IMS program to determine priority jobs and set workload for the day.\nPlace printed jobs on jogger to align and weigh according to job specifications.\nAlign prepared batch inside cutter to select cutting program to follow.\nFollow cutting program cutting from biggest measurement to smallest measurement.\nMonitor assigned machine during each cut to ensure adherence to specifications and make adjustments as needed to maintain specifications and operating speed.\nTroubleshoot machine problems, resolve if possible, notifying Bindery Supervisor/Plant Management.\nReplace worn cutting blades with hand tools when required.\nKeep accurate press sheet information in Log Books with dates and counts.\nRecord production and operational data, such as amount of materials processed.\nReport any and all workplace hazards to management immediately.\nEnsure all equipment, tools, and work station are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards.\nMust be available for any required overtime based on business needs.\nMust be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nAt least 1 year experience using Polar or Heidelberg cutting machines and general printing process.\nAbility to measure and count accurately.\nKnowledge of cutting programs on machine.\nAttention to detail.\nGood communication skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers.\nAbility to safely use hand/power tools.\nAbility to multi task with changing priorities.\nAbility to recognize safety issues & corrective actions.\nPhysical Requirements\nStanding/Walking
