Here are your main responsibilities:\nData Engineering & GCP Platform\nDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\nLeverage GCP services such as: BigQuery (analytics data warehouse) Cloud Storage (raw data and data zones storage) Dataproc (distributed Spark/Hadoop processing) Cloud Run (deployment of data services and microservices) Cloud Workstations (development environments)\nParticipate in the implementation of modern data lakehouse architectures.\nOrchestration and Automation\nDesign and orchestrate data processing pipelines using Prefect.\nImplement robust, observable, and resilient workflows.\nCode Development and Governance\nDevelop in modern environments (VS Code / Cloud Workstations).\nManage source code using GitHub.\nImplement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.\nAutomate deployments and infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).\nData & AI Enablement\nPrepare, transform, and structure data to support analytics and artificial intelligence use cases.\nCollaborate with data scientists to facilitate access to reliable and governed data.\nDevOps, DataOps and Reliability\nImplement DevOps/DataOps practices: Automated testing Pipeline monitoring Error handling and alerting\nEnsure data quality, traceability, and governance.\nCollaboration & Delivery\nWork collaboratively with: Product Owners and Product Managers (PO & PM) Architects, Data Scientists, Business partners\nTranslate business needs into robust technical solutions.\nDocument solutions and contribute to their continuous evolution.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation one week per month, with additional compensation.\nWhat could accelerate your success in this role\nWe are looking for someone who:\nHas 5 to 10 years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, or a related field.\nHolds a degree in computer science, software engineering, or an equivalent field.\nMasters data modeling concepts (Data Vault, star schema, etc.).\nHas strong experience with: BigQuery and cloud analytics environments Distributed processing (Spark / Dataproc)\nHas expertise in pipeline orchestration (e.g., Prefect, Airflow, or equivalent).\nIs comfortable with modern development practices: GitHub, GitHub Actions CI/CD Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)\nIs familiar with microservices-oriented architectures (Cloud Run or equivalent).\nUnderstands data governance, security, and cloud access management (IAM).\nDemonstrates strong analytical skills and the ability to propose relevant solutions.\nShows autonomy, rigor, and a constant focus on quality.\nThrives in an agile and multidisciplinary environment.\nHas excellent proficiency in French, both spoken and written.\nHas an intermediate level of English, as the role involves leading presentations and meetings with internal and external stakeholders on a weekly basis.\nImportant Assets\nExperience in a production GCP environment\nKnowledge of MLOps/DataOps practices\nKnowledge of investment and financial data (portfolios, transactions, market prices), a major asset\nGCP certification (e.g., Professional Data Engineer)\nWhy you’ll enjoy working with us\nAn environment focused on innovation and modern data (GCP-first)\nA strong culture of collaboration between IT, data, and business teams\nA setting that encourages continuous learning and experimentation\nA flexible hybrid work environment\nCompetitive benefits: flexible group insurance, competitive retirement plan, employee share purchase plan, vacation and wellness/personal development days, telemedicine, employee and family assistance program, ergonomic equipment program, performance bonus, discounts on iA products, and more!\nApply now and take charge of your career, where your talent truly matters!\nHesitating to apply?\nAt iA, we believe in potential and value diverse experiences.
