TEAM is led by a high-performing team passionate about improving access to home-based care in America.\nThe Role:\nThe Security Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving security technologies across endpoint, network, cloud, identity, data, and application environments. This hands on role supports the organization's security infrastructure while strengthening technical controls and ensuring alignment with HIPAA, SOC 2, and business requirements.\nThe Security Engineer partners with Security Operations, Infrastructure, GRC, and external providers to improve security monitoring, incident response, data protection, and vulnerability management across the organization.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nImplement, maintain, and optimize security technologies across endpoint, network, cloud, identity, data, and application environments, supporting security architecture and technical standards.\nSupport security monitoring and incident response activities, including SIEM, XDR, EDR, detection tuning, investigations, forensic data collection, and coordination with external security providers.\nImplement and maintain data loss prevention (DLP) and identity access management (IAM) controls, including access reviews, least privilege, privileged access, and protection of sensitive information.\nManage vulnerability scanning and remediation activities, prioritizing findings, validating fixes, and improving security configurations across cloud and infrastructure environments.\nAutomate security workflows, integrations, reporting, and control validation while maintaining technical documentation, runbooks, and compliance evidence.\nWhat you Bring to the Table:\nQualifications\n5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, security operations, cloud security, infrastructure security, or a related technical role.\nBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience\nExperience implementing enterprise security technologies, including SIEM/XDR, EDR, DLP, IAM, vulnerability scanning, firewalls, or cloud security controls.\nExperience supporting security incidents, technical investigations, detection engineering, and automation using PowerShell, Python, APIs, or similar tools.\nExperience in healthcare or regulated environments preferred; familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, NIST CSF, or relevant security certifications is a plus.\nSkills\nSecurity Engineering, monitoring, and incident response\nIdentity management, data protection, and vulnerability management\nWindows, Linux, networking, Microsoft 365, and AWS or Azure security\nScripting, automation, and technical troubleshooting\nCross-functional communication, documentation, and problem solving.\nWhat we Bring to the Table:\nCompany-sponsored medical, dental, and vision plan for employees and their dependents\n401(k) participation after 3 months of continuous service\nWellness program, learning development program\nLife insurance, long-term disability coverage\nCharitable contribution matching, volunteer time off, and employee assistance program \nIn addition to accrued vacation time and sick time, TEAM recognizes 12 paid federal holidays \n24 Hour Home Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer that is proud of its culture of diversity and inclusion.
