No prior experience in AI is required.\nKey Responsibilities\nCivil & Structural Drawing Development\nCreate and refine complete civil and structural drawing sets\n\nDevelop plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and supporting documentation\n\nTranslate engineering requirements into accurate technical drawings\n\nReview drawings for completeness, coordination, and constructability\n\nMaintain professional documentation standards across complex projects\n\nBIM Authoring & Model Development\nAuthor and manage BIM models using Revit, ArchiCAD, BlenderBIM, or comparable tools\n\nDevelop accurate models for complex or multi-building projects\n\nMaintain model organisation, geometry, classification, and technical consistency\n\nSupport multidisciplinary coordination throughout model development\n\nApply BIM best practices across design and documentation workflows\n\nIFC & Data Interoperability\nExport and validate IFC 2x3 or IFC4 files\n\nReview geometry, classification, and mapping integrity\n\nIdentify interoperability issues affecting design coordination or downstream use\n\nEvaluate BIM data workflows for functionality and reliability\n\nSupport accurate exchange of engineering information across platforms\n\nEngineering Standards & Constructability\nApply relevant standards including Eurocode, ACI, ASCE, IS, or BS requirements\n\nEvaluate project requirements against structural and civil engineering principles\n\nIdentify constructability issues, coordination conflicts, and design weaknesses\n\nRecommend practical improvements based on professional engineering experience\n\nDocument technical decisions and design rationale clearly\n\nTechnical Evaluation & AI Collaboration\nReview engineering and BIM outputs for technical accuracy and usability\n\nAssess the functionality of modelling tools and data workflows\n\nProvide structured feedback on engineering scenarios and project deliverables\n\nContribute domain expertise to AI training and engineering-evaluation tasks\n\nCollaborate remotely with technical stakeholders and multidisciplinary contributors\n\nIdeal Profile\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field\n\nMaster's degree is preferred\n\n5+ years of post-degree professional experience developing complete drawing sets and BIM models\n\n3+ years of daily, expert-level BIM authoring experience\n\nStrong proficiency with Revit, ArchiCAD, BlenderBIM, or comparable BIM platforms\n\nHands-on experience with IFC export and validation\n\nExperience delivering complex or multi-building projects\n\nStrong multidisciplinary coordination experience\n\nDemonstrated knowledge of Eurocode, ACI, ASCE, IS, BS, or comparable standards\n\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills\n\nAbility to explain technical decisions clearly and precisely\n\nProfessional licensing such as PE, CEng, or Chartered status is advantageous\n\nExperience with IfcOpenShell, Python, Navisworks, Solibri, ETABS, SAP2000, Robot, Tekla, or custom BIM families is beneficial\n\nNo prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required\n\nEngagement Details\nIndependent contractor engagement\n\nFully remote\n\nCompensation: $30-$50/hour\n\nWork will involve BIM authoring, civil and structural documentation, IFC validation, constructability review, technical evaluation, and engineering workflow assessment\n\nStrong hands-on model-development experience is central to this engagement\n\nAssignments may involve Revit, ArchiCAD, BlenderBIM, openBIM workflows, structural-analysis tools, and multidisciplinary project coordination\n\nProject scope, workload, engineering scenarios, software environments, and evaluation standards may evolve depending on project requirements\n\nWork must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, engineering firm, institution, or other third party\n\nAbout the Platform\nThis opportunity is available through 24-MAG LLC.
