The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the product lifecycle and a proven track record of successful program execution in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the development and implementation of comprehensive qualification plans, procedures, and reports in accordance with military and industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810 & DO-160)\nServes as the primary technical interface for all qualification events, collaborating with design engineers, mechanical engineers, systems engineers, quality assurance, program manager, and project engineering manager to define test requirements and ensure product readiness\nAnalyze test data, process Test Failure and Resolution Reports (TFRRs) to completion, and recommend corrective actions\nInterpret customer specifications and translate them into actionable test requirements\nDevelop qualification schedules and coordinate/perform testing\nAssist with the definition of functional tests required to verify equipment operation during environmental tests\nSet up and operate environmental test chambers, vibration tables, and data acquisition systems\nCoordinate with subcontract testing lab(s) (quotes, POs, scheduling testing, testing, reports, etc.)\nSupport design verification, qualification, and reliability testing programs\nEnsure test equipment is properly calibrated and maintained\nInterface with external customers for milestone reviews, test planning, and test execution phases\nContribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures\nAuthor Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for qualification testing for RFIs and RFP responses\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering\nMinimum 10 years of engineering experience with a minimum 5 years performing environmental testing per MIL-STD-810 or DO-160\nUnderstanding the hardware development lifecycle, reliability, and compliance testing\nRelevant experience in hardware validation and verification testing\nHands-on experience with environmental test equipment (climatic chambers, shock/vibration systems, etc.)\nProficient in data acquisition, analysis tools, and technical report writing\nExcellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team\nAttention to Detail: High level of precision in test execution, data analysis, and reporting\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExtensive experience with DO-160\nExperience with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, or MIL-STD-1275 standards and testing\nActive U.S. Security Clearance or ability to obtain one\nExperience supporting government contracts or working in a defense/aerospace environment\nExperience with enterprise-level tools to aid in program management, such as but not limited to DOORS, JIRA, Risk/Opportunity tools, MS Project, Product LifeCycle Management (PLM)\n\nWork Environment:\nPrimarily onsite in a laboratory or test facility environment\nOccasional travel required to subcontract testing labs in Dallas or Plano\nOccasional travel may be required for off-site
