Selecting parts and materials for jobs and assemble in kits. Ensuring accurate quantity and type of part and materials are received and issued. \nEnsure adherence to safety rules, government regulations and company policies and procedures. \nEnsure the warehouse is a safe work environment and all shipping and receiving processes and procedures are adhered to.\nEnsure high standard of customer services in the areas of order taking and customer problem solving. \nReceive all parts and materials according to standard written procedures.\nRecord all incoming shipments, checking shipments against purchase orders and verifying contents of shipment against packing slip.\nEnter all receiving (Packing Slips), issue and transfers into JDE inventory management system.\nIdentify damaged goods and initiate damage claims as per our policies and procedures.\nSort parts and materials and places in designated stock locations in warehouse.\nFill internal customer orders, deliver and stage items to designated locations.\nMaintain good housekeeping and orderliness in the warehouse and in the receiving area.\nPrepare shipping and TDG documents when required.\nIdentify and prepare parts and core returns to suppliers as per our return procedures.\nPerform physical inventory counts as determined within the warehouse policy and complete daily cycle counting as required or yearly wall to wall inventory count. \nProvide effective solutions and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and the optimal performance targets are achieved.\nOperate NACG light vehicle, warehouse equipment and power tools, including fork-lifts in a safe manner. \nPick up and return parts and materials from local vendors as required\nQualifications\nWhat Makes You the ONE\n2 years warehouse materials handling experience in a distribution setting or similar environment \n2 years of operating experience with various fork-lift(s) battery standup, propane or fuel type\nPrior experience in picking up and returning parts and materials from vendors\nPrior experience using an inventory management system\nIndustrial construction and/or mining experience preferred.\nHigh school diploma\nA valid fork-lift operator’s certificate\nPossession of a materials handling or parts ticket certification is an asset\nExcellent communications skills both verbal and written.\nStrong computer skills and strong organizational skills.\nProficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), specifically JDE experience is an asset\nAttention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.\nStrong analytical, problem solving, mathematical and sound decision making skills.\nDemonstrated maturity with the ability to self-manage, organize, prioritize and interact well with others/team; strong team player.\nAbility to work with people of all levels within the organization.
