The Team Lead manages a team of 3 - 6 developers depending on product complexity, balancing hands-on technical involvement with delivery accountability to ensure projects ship on time, within scope, and at production-grade quality.\nResponsibilities\nDelivery & Execution (Primary Focus)\nOwns delivery planning and execution for the team, ensuring predictable delivery outcomes and alignment with business priorities.\nDrives end-to-end delivery from requirements through production deployment, managing dependencies, risks, and blockers proactively.\nMonitors delivery performance and continuously improves team effectiveness, quality, and delivery predictability.\nEnsures release readiness and adherence to engineering standards, including testing, deployment safety, monitoring, rollback preparedness, security controls, and stakeholder sign-off.\nWorks closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and other teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.\nTechnical Leadership\nOwns solution design and technical decisions within the team's product domain, ensuring alignment with architectural standards, security requirements, and engineering best practices.\nConducts and enforces code reviews following the secured code review guidelines; ensures the team adheres to defined coding standards and CI/CD pipeline requirements (code scan, secret key scan, web scan).\nMakes pragmatic technical trade-off decisions - balancing delivery speed with code quality and technical debt management.\nCoordinates and drives the resolution of production incidents, ensuring timely recovery, root cause analysis, and follow-up improvement actions are completed.\nStays current with the team's technology stack and contributes hands-on when critical path items require it.\nPeople & Team Management\nManages a team of 3-6 developers, including workload balancing, performance management, and delivery coordination.\nCoaches and develops team members through regular feedback, clear expectations, career development, and skill-building initiatives.\nFosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.\nStakeholder Communication\nProvides clear, regular delivery status updates to senior management and product stakeholders.\nTranslates business requirements into actionable technical tasks and acceptance criteria for the team.\nCollaborates with other Team Leads to ensure cross-team alignment on standards, shared services, observability, and integration points.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.\n3+ years of software development experience in a production environment.\n1+ year in a lead, senior, or tech-lead capacity - with demonstrated ownership of delivery outcomes (not just individual contribution).\nExperience working on high-traffic or transaction-heavy systems is a strong plus.\nTechnical / Professional Skills & Competencies\nProficient in .NET and/or Java with hands-on production experience; able to review code, debug issues, and contribute to critical deliverables.\nSolid experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) - able to review query performance, data models, and troubleshoot production data issues.\nFamiliarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB) and when to apply them.\nWorking knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent) - understands pipeline stages including code scan, secret scan, and deployment automation.\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and basic infrastructure concepts.\nUnderstanding of microservices architecture, API design (REST/gRPC), and event-driven patterns (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).\nExperience with observability tools - logging, monitoring, tracing (e.g., Datadog, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).\nUnderstanding of security best practices, including OWASP Top 10, authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth2, JWT), and PCI DSS application-level requirements.\nStrong planning, problem-solving, and execution skills with a proven track record of delivering production systems successfully.\nExperience applying AI-assisted development tools and workflows, including analysis, coding, code review, test generation, and incident investigation.\nInterested candidates are invited to send your comprehensive resume with current and expected salary package via this job ad.
