are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team for a long-term project.\n\nProject\n\nA SaaS-based, data-driven eCommerce platform built on AI-powered, fully cloud-native technology for the North American market.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nBuild and own services across the pipeline — ingestion API, validation, stream processing, adapters, serving API.\n\nBuild the UI layer — dashboards and embedded analytics — on top of the data you modelled.\n\nMake it operable: idempotent ingest and replay, deduplication, provenance, tracing, data-quality checks, tenant isolation, GDPR handling.\n\nUse AI coding tools to improve development productivity, code quality, debugging, and testing.\n\nApply AI-assisted development practices while maintaining established coding standards and version control processes.\n\nRequired Skills and Experience\n\n5+ years building production services in the cloud as a backend engineer\n\nStrong in at least one backend language (Java/Kotlin or Go, TypeScript/Node, Python) and comfortable working with JavaScript/TypeScript on the front end (React or similar).\n\nReal experience with event-driven systems: message queues or streams (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis), schema evolution, at-least-once delivery, idempotency.\n\nMicroservices architecture — designing and operating independently deployable services with clear API boundaries.\n\nSolid SQL and data modeling — you can design a warehouse schema and reason your decisions.\n\nCloud-native delivery: containers, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, and monitoring.\n\nYou care about data correctness and can explain a metric's definition to a non-engineer.\nNice to Have\n\nSnowflake and dbt.\n\nAzure (also GCP/AWS — we're multi-cloud by design).\n\nAI experience\n\nLooker or another semantic/BI layer, embedded analytics.\n\nClickstream or product analytics: web-beacons/tags, sessionization, attribution models.\n\nE-commerce, search, recommendations, or merchandising
