AI Specialist / AI Solutions Engineer

"KDB Bank Uzbekistan" is international and stable bank in Uzbekistan. We are looking for AI Specialist

Duties:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the bank’s AI policies including ethical guidelines, data usage standards, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Ensure alignment with national and international regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, AI Act, local financial regulations) .
• Provide recommendations for procurement or partnership with AI solution providers.
• Oversee integration of selected AI tools into banking operations (e.g., core banking, fraud detection, customer service).
• Collaborate with IT, security, compliance, and operations teams to ensure successful AI deployments.
• Support internal capacity-building efforts through staff education and training programs on AI systems and usage.
• Ensure systems are regularly audited for performance, bias, and compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or related technical field.

• 2+ years of experience in AI-related roles, preferably within financial services, fintech, or a regulated industry.

• Deep comprehension of model architectures (Transformers, CNNs, RNNs, Mixture-of-Experts, Encoder-only vs. Decoder-only models).

• Clear operational understanding of the distinct branches of AI-including Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), Computer Vision (CV), and Time-Series Analytics.

• Practical expertise in embedding models, vector search engines, and reranking pipelines to design production-grade Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Python (or C++/Rust) and modern AI libraries/frameworks (PyTorch, vLLM, Ollama, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face ecosystem). Ability to write clean, production-grade code, build efficient APIs, and handle containerized environments (Docker, Nginx).

• Familiarity with compliance, risk, and ethical considerations in AI deployment.

• Practical capability to script deployment automation, configure execution environments, and write optimized code to extract maximum performance from underlying hardware.

• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• Project management skills, with experience managing AI/tech implementations.
