Overview

We are seeking a motivatedRoofing Technicianto join our team.The Roofing Technicianis responsible forthe installation, repair, maintenance, and inspection of residential and commercial roofing systems. This role involves working with a variety of roofing materials,identifyingand resolving roofing issues, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, andin accordance withindustry standards and building codes. The Roofing Technician works as part of a team to deliver high-quality workmanship whilemaintaininga safe and organized job site. The position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to customer satisfaction and project quality.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform demolition of property, debris removal,andcontent cleaning.

• Responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial roofing systems.

• Create andmaintainaccurateand detailed measurements, diagrams, photos, journals, work orders, and other documentation, asrequiredfor each job into job management systems.

• Communicate details of work performed, and job status clearly and succinctly with clients, managers, team members, and other parties.

• Maintain a neat and orderly worksite and obey all safety rules and regulationstoprevent work hazards.

• Ensure work truck is clean and organized; ensuring truck is stocked with necessary equipment and supplies to perform all workrequiredat designated job sites.

• Assistother departments and technicians as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

RequiredQualifications

• Education

• • High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience

• • Experience withusing basic hand tools.

• • 1+ years of experience working in commercial roofing.

• Skills

• • General knowledge of a variety of basic topics, such as math, reading, typing, and computer functions.

• • Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions provided written orally, or diagrammatically.

• • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• • Ability to use basic hand tools, such asscrewdriver,wrench, hammercrowbar, and power tools.

• • Must have a valid driver’s license andsafedriving record.

• • Must have on-call availability.

• Physical Requirements

• • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with travel to outdoor job sites.

• • Ability to sustainlong periodsof standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.

• • Must be able to perform all tasks while wearingrequiredPPE.

• • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as harsh indoor conditions.

• • Ability to work at heights, confined spaces,lift upto 50 pounds unassisted, stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, twist, climb, push, pull, and balance.
