This role involves working with a variety of roofing materials,identifyingand resolving roofing issues, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, andin accordance withindustry standards and building codes. The Roofing Technician works as part of a team to deliver high-quality workmanship whilemaintaininga safe and organized job site. The position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to customer satisfaction and project quality.\nKey Responsibilities and Duties\nPerform demolition of property, debris removal,andcontent cleaning. \nResponsible for the maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial roofing systems.\nCreate andmaintainaccurateand detailed measurements, diagrams, photos, journals, work orders, and other documentation, asrequiredfor each job into job management systems.\nCommunicate details of work performed, and job status clearly and succinctly with clients, managers, team members, and other parties.\nMaintain a neat and orderly worksite and obey all safety rules and regulationstoprevent work hazards.\nEnsure work truck is clean and organized; ensuring truck is stocked with necessary equipment and supplies to perform all workrequiredat designated job sites.\nAssistother departments and technicians as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequiredQualifications\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n\nExperience\nExperience withusing basic hand tools.\n\n1+ years of experience working in commercial roofing.\n\nSkills\nGeneral knowledge of a variety of basic topics, such as math, reading, typing, and computer functions.\n\nAbility to apply understanding to carry out instructions provided written orally, or diagrammatically.\n\nStrong organizational and time management abilities.\n\nAbility to use basic hand tools, such asscrewdriver,wrench, hammercrowbar, and power tools.\n\nMust have a valid driver’s license andsafedriving record.\n\nMust have on-call availability.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with travel to outdoor job sites.\n\nAbility to sustainlong periodsof standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.\n\nMust be able to perform all tasks while wearingrequiredPPE.\n\nMust be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as harsh indoor conditions.\n\nAbility to work at heights, confined spaces,lift upto 50 pounds unassisted, stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, twist, climb, push, pull, and balance.\n\nBenefits:\n401(k)\n401(k) matching\nHealth insurance\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nPaid time off\n360 Fire & Flood is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to providing a workplace free from discrimination or harassment.
