This role will manage core accounting functions, lead month-end close, support audits, and help strengthen internal controls as the company scales. The Accounting Manager will work closely with the CFO to provide accurate financial data that supports business decision-making.\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes\nManage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness\nPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP\nDevelop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies/procedures\nSupervise and mentor accounting staff (or serve as an individual contributor initially, with growth into a supervisory role)\nSupport activities related to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis\nCoordinate with external auditors and tax preparers for annual audits and tax filings\nEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations\nManage day-to-day cash flow reporting and support treasury administration\nRecommend process improvements within existing accounting systems and flag opportunities to evaluate new tools\nAssist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as directed by the CFO\nQualifications\nRequired:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\n5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close and financial statement preparation\nStrong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls\nHands-on experience with QuickBooks and other accounting/ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, Xero)\nAdvanced Excel skills\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nPreferred:\nCPA or CPA-track\nExperience in manufacturing, design, or engineering-related industries\nPrior
