The internship combines structured learning with contributions to our existing applications and new system development.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nAssist with setting up and documenting consistent development and testing environments.\nHelp containerize applications and maintain Docker configurations.\nContribute to CI/CD pipelines for building, validating, testing, and deploying applications.\nSupport code quality checks and automated validation.\nAssist with application logs, monitoring dashboards, and basic troubleshooting.\nWrite small automation scripts for repetitive development and operational tasks.\nMaintain deployment guides, troubleshooting notes, and developer onboarding documentation.\nCollaborate with developers and testers, participate in reviews, and demonstrate completed work.\nInfrastructure and deployment changes will be performed under mentor supervision.\n\nWhat You Will Learn:\n\nHow applications move from source code to a running environment.\nPractical Linux administration, containerization, and cloud fundamentals.\nCI/CD workflows, environment configuration, and deployment troubleshooting.\nMonitoring, logging, access management, and secure handling of configuration and secrets.\nHow DevOps supports both legacy systems and a modernized application architecture.\nResponsible use of AI tools alongside technical understanding and verification.\n\nBenefits and Career Opportunities:\n\nStructured learning, mentorship, and regular feedback.\nPractical experience contributing to real business systems.\nCollaboration with development and testing teams.\nInterns who demonstrate a good level of technical ability and overall performance during the three-month internship will be eligible for a part-time role afterward.\nRequirements\nWho Can Apply:\n\nUndergraduate students studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, preferably in their second or third year.\nCandidates with basic programming knowledge and an interest in Linux, cloud technologies, automation, and software delivery.\nStudents who demonstrate curiosity, clear communication, problem-solving skills, and consistent commitment.\nNo previous professional DevOps experience is required.\n\nBasic Requirements:\n\nFamiliarity with Linux commands, files, permissions, and processes.\nBasic understanding of Git and version control.\nBasic networking knowledge, including IP addresses, ports, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS.\nFamiliarity with scripting or programming, such as Bash, Python, or JavaScript.\nAbility to document work, investigate problems, and communicate findings.\nWillingness to actively use AI tools for learning, scripting, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation, while understanding, verifying, and explaining the resulting work.\n\nPreferred Skills:\n\nExposure to any of the following is an advantage; familiarity with every tool is not expected:\nDocker and Docker Compose.\nCI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.\nAWS fundamentals, particularly EC2.\nCode quality tools such as SonarQube.\nMonitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.\nWeb servers, application deployment, or infrastructure as code.\n\nWORK MODEL & COMPENSATION;\n\nWorkdays: Sunday to Thursday. (unless mentioned otherwise).\nShift time: Flexible, per agreement with your supervisor.
