Partner with enterprise customers and global experts to advance environmental safety and solve complex data science challenges.\nJoin us and make an impact!\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking a hands-on Manager, Global Accounting & External Audits to join our global accounting team, with a focus on managing international statutory audits, supporting month-end close activities, and improving accounting processes across the organization.\nIn this role, you'll take ownership of international audit coordination, working closely with external accounting advisors, auditors, and internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and timely completion of deliverables. You'll also play an active role in our monthly close process and help identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate how we work.\nThe ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in accounting, experience managing international audits, and the ability to keep complex projects moving across multiple stakeholders. We're looking for someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, taking ownership, and finding better ways to get things done in a fast-paced, growing organization.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn International Audits and Statutory Reporting\nLead the coordination and execution of international statutory audits across multiple countries, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements are met.\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for external auditors and accounting advisors, managing requests, tracking outstanding items, and driving issues through resolution.\n\nPartner with external advisors responsible for preparing local statutory financial statements and converting U.S. GAAP financial information to local accounting standards.\n\nReview U.S. GAAP-to-local GAAP reconciliations, bridge files, supporting schedules, and statutory reporting deliverables for completeness and accuracy.\n\nMaintain and manage the international audit calendar, proactively identifying risks, communicating progress, and escalating issues before deadlines are impacted.\n\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Tax, HR, Legal, and Treasury, to obtain required financial information and supporting documentation.\n\nSupport Accounting Operations and Month-End Close\nTake an active, hands-on role in monthly close activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reviews, and other recurring accounting responsibilities.\n\nPartner with the broader accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.\n\nSupport the annual U.S. consolidated financial statement audit as needed.\n\nHelp strengthen accounting controls, documentation, and consistency across global accounting operations.\n\nBalance recurring accounting responsibilities with increased audit activity during peak reporting periods.\n\nImprove Processes and Drive Accountability\nIdentify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate manual accounting, reconciliation, and audit processes.\n\nBuild strong working relationships with internal teams and external service providers to improve communication, accountability, and timely delivery of information.\n\nDevelop repeatable processes and tracking mechanisms that reduce unnecessary follow-up, improve visibility, and keep work moving.\n\nLeverage technology, including AI-enabled tools, to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity while maintaining appropriate financial controls and data confidentiality.\n\nTake ownership of challenges, proactively identify solutions, and help build more scalable accounting operations as the business grows.\n\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n\n5+ years of experience combining public and corporate accounting, ideally with experience at a Big Four or other top 10 accounting firm.\n\nActive CPA license is strongly preferred.\n\nCorporate accounting experience, including direct involvement in month-end close activities, financial reporting, and supporting external audits.\n\nHands-on experience managing or coordinating international statutory audits, including working with external auditors and accounting advisors.\n\nStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with the process of converting U.S. GAAP financial information to local accounting standards.\n\nExperience managing multiple audit workstreams, deliverables, and deadlines across different stakeholders or geographic locations.\n\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively follow up, resolve issues, and drive accountability.\n\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities shift and a hands-on approach is essential.\n\nDemonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies, improve processes, and develop more effective ways of working.\n\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners.\n\nPractical experience using AI or automation tools to improve efficiency in accounting, financial reporting, or related workflows, with appropriate review of outputs.\n\nBased in the US in one of the states where 3E is authorized to hire, and eligible to work without sponsorship.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience preparing, reviewing, or coordinating U.S. GAAP-to-local GAAP reconciliations or bridge files.\n\nExperience working in a multinational organization, ideally with exposure to European statutory reporting requirements.\n\nExperience in a mid-sized, high-growth, SaaS, or private equity-backed organization.\n\nExperience coordinating
