Technician’s responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing all manufacturing equipment in a glass factory, performing routine servicing and inspections, reading manuals, troubleshooting rotating equipment using PLC or multimeter.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong electrical skills and good mechanical background, enjoy performing tasks with your hands and use a wide range of resources to solve machine operating problems\nKey Responsibilities and Duties:\nAdvanced troubleshooting of any down equipment\nInstalling, repairing, maintaining electronic components and systems for manufacturing equipment\nSourcing replacement parts for electrical and mechanical systems\nSupport operations teams to ensure timely completion of tasks in line with safety protocols\nCompleting scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing of equipment \nAssist other technicians as assigned and needed\nFollow written, verbal and process instructions\nResponsible for continuous operation of facility and production equipment\nWorks with contractors to complete assigned tasks\nCompetent working with production machinery, HVAC systems, cranes, utility systems, air compressors, CNC machines, ovens \nKnowledge of Microsoft Outlook/Office, Excel, Word and Google Suite\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 3-5 years’ experience supporting maintenance in a manufacturing environment\nExperience in glass manufacturing (preferred)\nJourneyman or Graduate in Electricity (preferred)\nExcellent time management and organizational skills\nPhysical Demands:\nAmount of Time Spent Performing Activities:\nStanding: Up to 2/3 of the shift\nWalking: Up to 1/3 of the shift\nRequired Physical Strength and Movement:\nMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs frequently\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally\nMust be able to assist with team lifting of loads exceeding 50 lbs occasionally\nMust be able to stand for the entire length of the shift (up to 10 hours)\nMust be able to work in and around manufacturing and production equipment\nFrequent climbing of ladders, bending, stooping, standing, walking, twisting, kneeling, and reaching\nMust be able to see and hear to acknowledge critical safety instructions, alarms, forklift traffic, and perform quality and equipment inspections\nMust be able to sustain repetitive movement of both upper and lower extremities with varying degrees of force\nMust be able to push and pull up to 100 pounds of force regularly, including moving pallets, carts, glass/plastic sheets, and boxes using a hand truck or similar equipment\nWhat We Offer:\nIn addition to a great team environment, 3form offers a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
