Graduate Engineer in computer science / Equivalent 2 Years Executive Graduate (with PG Diploma in IT or 1 Year Certification Course In Computer) / 3 year Diploma holder in Electronics, Computer Science or IT
Network Executive should study & understand the HPCL-VR LAN Architecture and monitor, analyze, troubleshoot LAN traffic, so the Uptime and reliability of the links should be at optimum levels. He should have good communication skills so as to interact with service providers and HPCL employees in handling both Facility Management & Vendor management of the Network equipment. The Executive should have good Network traffic Management & troubleshooting skills. They should be able to monitor, analyze the issues to reduce downtime and increase reliability of the Network. The Executive is required to support the Sr. Network Executive in all the aspects related to NMS as and when needed by the Sr. Executive. He must have expertise & experience in UTP/OFC cabling jobs and have to carry out the same whenever needed. Will be responsible for first level diagnosis of network related problems. His duties will include but not limited to the following: Laying of OFC/UTP Cables through (or without) conduits like PVC/HDPE/GI Pipes and/or Casing & Capping wherever applicable which can be internal or external of a building; Drilling job for cable laying (must have experience in drilling job); Installation of Patch Panels, LIU and Communication Racks standing or wall mounted; Installation of OFC & Cat 6 /6A or higher Patch chords. Crooning and Crimping of Cat 6/Cat A or higher Cable; . Mounting of IO Boxes on the walls and Switches in the Rack; Cable Dressing, Ferruling, labeling and other related jobs; Splicing & Termination of OFC into LIUs; Ability to handle OFC / UTP testing & correcting tools; Overall assisting to its Sr. Network Executives
