Here, you will make an impact by:\nReviewing, responding, and moderating comments and direct messages on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), and escalating complex or sensitive issues to higher management or specialized teams\nEnsuring all content adheres to community guidelines, legal policies, and platform standards, and maintaining a positive user experience by ensuring a safe and respectful online environment\nIdentifying and flagging inappropriate content such as offensive language, graphic images, hate speech, or spam\nMaintaining a thorough understanding of community standards, policies, and trends\nProviding feedback and suggestions for improving moderation processes\nPreferred Qualifications\nTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)\nTwo (2) years of social media moderation, community management, or a related field experience in a private, public, government or military environment such as in customer service\nStrong communication skills, particularly on reading and writing in English and in the specific language assigned\nExperience with specific platforms or social media networks (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).\nThis role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least 4 days per week in the 3M locations\nLocation for this role is at 3M GBS Philippines\nThis role will require working hours aligned with the supported business time zone, which may fall outside standard Philippine working hours.\nTravel: not required\nMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)\nAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:\n· Two (2) years proven experience in content moderation, community management, or a related field in a private, public, government or military environment\n· Preferred skills include:\n· Strong understanding of internet culture, trends, and online behavior\n· Familiarity with content moderation tools and platforms (Sprinklr, Sprout Social, etc.)\n· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to make quick decisions\n· Knowledge of legal issues related to online content (e.g., copyright, harassment)\nLearn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn @3M.Safety is a core value at 3M.
