Here, you will make an impact by:\nGather, clean, validate, and analyze manufacturing and operational data from multiple systems.\nDevelop recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support plant and operational leadership.\nMonitor key performance indicators such as output, cycle time, yield, scrap, downtime, asset performance.\nIdentify trends, process bottlenecks, and performance improvement opportunities using statistical and analytical methods.\nPartner with manufacturing, engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to understand business needs and define reporting requirements.\nSupport root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts by providing data insights and performance tracking.\nMaintain data integrity and consistency across reporting systems and databases.\nDocument data definitions, reporting logic, and business rules to support standardized analytics.\nPresent findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and business-focused manner.\nDevelop and maintain Power BI Reports, Power Apps, Power Automate Flows and SQL Databases.\nYour skills and expertise\nTo set you up for success in this role from Day 1, 3M requires (at minimum) the following qualifications\nHigh School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)\nAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:\nBachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science or Business Analytics (completed and verified prior to start)\nTwo (2) years of experience in data analysis in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain environments.\nStrong skills in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Grafana.\nExperience analyzing operational or production data and building dashboards and performance reports.\nKnowledge of manufacturing KPIs and production performance metrics.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.\nExperience in a manufacturing, plant, industrial, or continuous improvement environment.\nFamiliarity with ERP, MES, historian, or other manufacturing data systems.\nKnowledge of statistical analysis methods and process improvement tools.\nExperience with Python, R, or other analytics/programming tools.\nExposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methodologies.\nLocation: Brockville ON, Canada\nTravel: May include up to 5% domestic/international\nRelocation: Not offered\n3M Canada welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
