Here, you will make an impact by:\nDesign, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integration solutions.\nBuild and support trusted data products, including curated datasets, reusable data assets, semantic layers, and analytics-ready data models.\nSupport data lake, data warehouse, and analytics platform configuration, optimization, and operations.\nApply DevOps practices, including CI/CD, version control, automated testing, and deployment automation for data engineering solutions.\nMonitor data quality, pipeline performance, platform reliability, and production support processes.\nYour Skills and Expertise\nTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)\n5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehouse development, or analytics platform support.\nExperience with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and data quality practices.\nDatabricks experience preferred, including notebook development, data engineering workflows, or Lakehouse architecture.\n SAP HANA & SAP ERP knowledge helpful.\nExperience with data platforms and tools such as Snowflake, AWS, Power BI, or similar technologies.\nAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nExcellent stakeholder management skills\nAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teams\nLearn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn @3M.Safety is a core value at 3M.
