Own analytical aspects of RFx process for regional warehouse, DC, consolidation, deconsolidation and all modes of transportation including LTL, FTL, Intermodal, drayage, cartage, domestic and international parcel.\nProblem solving requires hypothetical thinking to determine best solutions for complex problems. Utilizes resources across work areas and departments to create solutions. Most complex problem solving may require in-depth interpretation and analysis for significantly different situations.\nDecisions impact one area of the organization and occasionally may impact multiple areas and countries within EMEA. Utilizing financial data, market intelligence and impacts for forecasts for operation planning.\nDevelop, subject matter expertise (SME) on sourcing RFx platform - Build RFPs and develop format utilizing RFx platforms: Keelvar, Jagger, Coupa, Trimble, GEP, etc. with capability to develop scenario building in tool for cost vs. service comparison.\nProvide insights to sourcing managers (SMEs) on key market trends to assist in their supplier negotiations. Support SMEs in strategy development, data collection, continuous improvements.\nDevelops systems to support sourcing information needs, with KPI’s for vendor relationship with air, ocean, ground freight, parcel, international freight and drayage suppliers.\nDevelop BI reports that include supplier spend, price per mode trend, market intelligence reporting.\nValidate and publish cost vs market trend.\nEnsures compliance of corporate sourcing policies and procedures demonstrates company ethics and compliance values.\nActively participates in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards, complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with 3M’s values and ethical standards.\nYour Skills and Expertise\nTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Finance, Business administration or related.\nTwo years of transportation, logistics sourcing or procurement experience in a private, public, government or military environment\nExperience in Business and Data Analytics (Power BI, Snowflake, Tableau, Advance excel, Access, etc.)\nAdvance English level\nAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:\nMaster’s degree in finance, Business Administration or related, from an accredited institution\nFive (5) years of Sourcing in a private, public, government or military environment\nExcellent verbal and written communications.\nStrong program management, Analytical and problem-solving skills and collaboration across teams, functions and organization.\nFamiliarity with RFx processes and tools, including support for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.\nExperience supporting sourcing or procurement activities for warehousing, distribution centers, 3PL, or 4PL services.\nStrong analytical, reporting, benchmarking, and data consolidation skills.\nFamiliarity with logistics and procurement systems such as AS400, Ship Angel, Infor Nexus, freight approval tools, TMS, ERP, SAP, Blue Yonder, or Oracle\nSupporting Your Well-being\n3M offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
