This role provides an opportunity to apply transportation, logistics sourcing, supply chain, procurement, or related experience in support of 3M’s global logistics operations.\nThe Impact You’ll Make in This Role\nAs a Logistics Sourcing Analyst, you will support regional and global logistics sourcing activities by partnering with sourcing, transportation operations, procurement, finance, and other cross-functional teams. You will help manage supplier information, contract documentation, rate cards, sourcing systems, audit support, and process standardization across logistics modes and regions.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nSupport logistics sourcing and transportation operations teams in developing and standardizing processes across transportation modes.\nManage supplier and vendor support activities, including vendor creation, documentation collection, bank information updates, supplier segmentation, and supplier data maintenance.\nAssist with contract management activities, including amendments, expiration tracking, out-clause documentation, Docusign follow-up, and contract repository organization.\nSupport rate management activities, including rate card creation, updates, approvals, repository maintenance, and uploads to systems such as AS400, Orion, and e-billing platforms.\nMaintain regional and global rate repositories to support operations, freight audit, invoice validation, and audit readiness.\nReview invoice discrepancies against approved rate cards, coordinate supplier follow-up, and escalate material variances as appropriate.\nRespond to freight audit and payment inquiries, including recurring rate-related requests.\nCreate monthly summaries of warehouse space utilization and spend to identify potential cost-reduction or renegotiation opportunities.\nSupport audit activities by maintaining accurate supplier, sourcing, contract, rate, and transactional documentation.\nProvide global transactional support for logistics sourcing processes, purchase order management, sourcing tools, and regional operational requirements.\nMaintain logistics sourcing policies, procedures, work instructions, and related process documentation.\nActively participate in corporate programs and initiatives while operating in alignment with 3M’s values, ethical standards, policies, and procedures.\nYour Skills and Expertise\nTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires, at a minimum, the following qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified prior to start.\nThree years of experience in transportation, logistics sourcing, supply chain, procurement, or a related field in a private, public, government, or military environment.\nFluency in English.\nAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed in this role include:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nExperience with supplier management, contract management, rate management, freight audit, invoice resolution, or sourcing systems.\nAbility to collaborate across teams, functions, regions, and levels of the organization.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.\nExperience with tools such as GEP, SACR, AS400, Orion, e-billing systems, transportation management systems, or similar platforms.\nWork Location\nHybrid Eligible: Job duties allow for some remote work but may require travel to a 3M site at least three days per week.\nTravel\nMay include up to 5% domestic and/or international travel.\nRelocation Assistance\nRelocation assistance is not authorized for this position.\nLearn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn @3M.Safety is a core value at 3M.
