Here, you will make an impact by:\nMaintaining a safe work environment and perform duties safely.\nTroubleshoot/Repair mechanical equipment and components such as: bearings, bushings, gear boxes, pump seals, clutches, brakes, drive components, valves, motors and couplings.\nTroubleshoot/Adjust mechanical equipment such as: hydraulic and pneumatic machinery and equipment, variable speed power transmission systems, conveyors, spraying systems and extruders.\nTroubleshoot control valves, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and pumps, and replace AC and DC drive, PLCs, and HMIs\nMaintaining a safe work environment and perform duties safely.\nYour Skills and Expertise:\nTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:\nApplicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws.\nRequired:\nHigh School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.\nPossess a two-year technical diploma/degree or higher in a Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics or Maintenance discipline from an accredited institution OR possess a minimum of three (3) years’ maintenance experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.\nMust be available to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation as required.\nApplicants meeting the basic qualifications are required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.\nAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:\nDesired:\nFive (5) years’ experience of manufacturing, equipment installation and troubleshooting maintenance support.\nDocumented education, training, and industrial work experience.\nDirect experience with manufacturing equipment.\nProven skill level in working with original equipment manuals, prints, drawings, and charts.\nKnowledge and skills of mechanical concepts needed to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and electrical devices.\nWork location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work onsite in Clinton, TN.\nTravel: None\nRelocation Assistance: NA\nMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).\nPay Transparency:\nThe starting rate of pay for this position is $32.67/hr., with the potential to reach $37.93/hr.
