In this role, you will design and deliver data-driven solutions that empower business decisions across 3M's global teams. Working at the intersection of Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Process Automation, you will play a key role in driving efficiency and transparency across our Packaging functions worldwide.\nThis position offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional, multicultural teams across regions, applying modern BI and automation tools to solve real business problems at a global scale.\nWhat You Will Do\nPartner with cross-functional stakeholders across regions to translate business needs into scalable digital solutions, driving efficiency and data transparency.\nApply a rational, structured mindset to problem-solving, ensuring solutions are logical, sustainable, and aligned with business priorities.\nEnsure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across all dashboards, reports, and automated processes.\nDesign, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards that translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders across Packaging functions and regions.\nWrite and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple enterprise data sources.\nBuild automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and SharePoint to streamline workflows, eliminate manual tasks, and improve productivity.\nProvide training, documentation, and coaching to end-users to promote adoption of self-service analytics and digital tools.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.\n3-6 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or digital solutions development.\nStrong technical expertise in dashboarding, data modeling, and process automation.\nProficiency in written and spoken English required; Chinese (Mandarin) language skills are a plus.\nRequired Software Proficiency\nPower BI (advanced dashboard design, DAX, data modeling)\nSQL (query writing, optimization, data extraction and transformation)\nMicrosoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)\nSharePoint (site design, lists, workflows, integration)\nMicrosoft Office Suite (advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)\nPython and AWS are a plus\nPreferred Qualifications\nProven track record delivering end-to-end dashboard and automation solutions that generated measurable business value.\nExperience integrating data from enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, PLM, CRM) into BI platforms.\nStrong rational and analytical mindset with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate them into data-driven solutions.\nDemonstrated facility working with data, identifying patterns, and delivering clear, actionable recommendations.\nStrong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nSelf-starter with a proactive approach, initiative, and ability to manage rapidly changing priorities.\nPassion for digital innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.\nExperience collaborating with global/regional teams across different time zones.\nLearn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn @3M.Safety is a core value at 3M.
