As a Solutions Architect for Global Analytics & Insights Organization, you will play a key role in bridging Global Business Services Analytics & Insights (GBS A&I) with our IT organization and 3M technologies. In this role you will be connected with stakeholders across IT and GBS Departments delivering value and supporting critical process, and helping 3M achieve excellence in Business Service.

The impact you will make in this role

• Bring IT guidance, frameworks and architectural direction to A&I teams to support effective governance, including release delivery, deployment processes, and alignment to strategic vision.

• Ensure A&I solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and IT governance standards.

• Partner to propose end-to-end solution architectures designs across applications, integrations, data, cloud, infrastructure, and security.

• Connect business requirements to practical and scalable technology architectures.

• Evaluate technical options and recommend A&I solutions based on cost, risk, performance, and long-term sustainability.

• Create and maintain A&I architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical decision records.

• Partnering across Global Business Service Analytics & Insights teams, including Domain teams, Hub teams, Project Managers, Scrum teams, business stakeholders, and IT workstreams to support initiatives and projects.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related areas.

• Experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Architect, Tech Lead or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, databases, enterprise applications, and security principles.

• Experience with AWS.

• Knowledge with programming languages - Python, C#, .Net.

• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, microservices.

• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced English.

• Curious, analytical, and problem-solver mindset.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with Snowflake.

• Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure and overall cloud environment architecture.

• Experience with SAP and others ERP.

• Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) knowledge.

• Experience in Agile Methodologies.

• Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF is a plus.

• Proficiency in Spanish.

Work location

This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at 3M in Sumaré/SP
