This role supports vendor creation, extension, maintenance, and issue resolution activities in accordance with established procedures, service level expectations, and global governance requirements.\nThe analyst plays an important role in maintaining data quality, supporting operational continuity, and ensuring that vendor-related requests are processed accurately and efficiently. The position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, the Master Data team, and other Source to Pay teams to address daily operational requests, monitor work queues, and identify opportunities to improve process quality and cycle time.\nThis role is primarily execution-focused, with responsibility for applying standard procedures, maintaining compliance, and supporting consistent service delivery across vendor centralization processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute vendor master data collection, setup, review, extension, and maintenance activities in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with established procedures and service level agreements.\nMaintain and manage operational work queues for vendor-related requests, including tickets, vendor creation and extension requests, cleansing activities, and replacement requests.\nComplete assigned tasks within defined SLA targets, including ticket resolution, vendor setup and updates, and response to email or system-based requests.\nCoordinate issue resolution and queue management within the assigned area of responsibility, while providing back-up support as needed and following global Source to Pay and Master Data Operations guidelines.\nFollow up on process delays and support coordination of activities needed to complete tasks within expected timelines.\nIdentify opportunities to improve data quality, reduce cycle time, and support more efficient vendor master data processes.\nWork closely with the Master Data team and proactively provide support and back-up within the Vendor Centralization Team.\nEnsure application of global master data standards, governance principles, and business-specific requirements in all vendor-related activities.\nReview existing vendors, including commodity and business use considerations, to determine whether new vendor creation is necessary or whether alternative solutions can be applied.\nApply Source to Pay end-to-end process knowledge in daily work to support accuracy and process alignment.\nAdhere to all 3M ethical standards, internal controls, and operational requirements in daily activities.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.\nRole Scope and Business Impact\nThe Vendor Centralization Team Analyst (JG7) supports the integrity and efficiency of vendor master data processes by ensuring that vendor records are created and maintained accurately and in compliance with defined standards.
