Your work will directly influence engineering priorities and product decisions across the organization.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role involving software development, data analysis, simulation, and autonomy performance evaluation.\nFounding Team Opportunity\nMost autonomy programs were started years ago. The major evaluation methodologies, engineering processes, and validation strategies were established long before today's engineers joined.\nWe're at a different stage.\nWe're assembling the founding team that will define how autonomy performance is measured, validated, and improved across the organization.\nThe engineers who join now will help shape:\nEvaluation methodology\n\nKPI strategy\n\nValidation framework\n\nSimulation strategy\n\nEngineering culture\n\nTechnical roadmap\n\nResponsibilities\nDevelop autonomy KPIs and performance metrics.\n\nBuild evaluation and validation tools for autonomous driving systems.\n\nAnalyze driving performance and identify failure modes.\n\nDevelop scenario mining and performance analysis workflows.\n\nSupport simulation-based testing and validation.\n\nCollaborate closely with ML, software, systems, and safety teams.\n\nContribute to technical discussions and engineering decisions.\n\nQualifications\nDemonstrated grit, ownership, and problem-solving ability.
