We take pride in fostering a safe environment for all employees in our climate-controlled plants. \nSummary: The Cutter Operator I is responsible for the setup, adjustment, and safe operation of all cutting equipment to prepare product to be packed, collated, or bound, ensuring the meeting of customer specifications, in accordance with company policies and procedures.\nSchedule: 3rd shift, Monday-Friday, eight or more hours per day, five or more days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 10:00 pm - 6:00 AM, or similar. Thank you for your understanding.\nMaintain and operate batching system to ensure the completion of assignmentsIdentify priority jobs to be completed\nReview job tickets and strategically plan work processes to meet customer specifications for custom jobs\n\nTroubleshoot machines, if possible, to resolve any problems and/or notify production managementReplace worn cutting blades with hand tools, as required\nSet up job assignment specifications, obtain approval and run product once authorized by supervisor or Plant Manager\nMonitor apparatus during run, adjust as needed to ensure adherence to specification including operating speed\n\nComplete and process all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.\nRegularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s)\nAdhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment\nAssist in cultivating an interdependent safety culture by reporting workplace hazards, related injuries, illnesses and or/near misses to management immediately\nAttend all department/company meetings\nOther duties as assigned\nFor an extensive list of responsibilities, duties and physical demands/work environment please refer to the attached Job Description.\nQualifications\nEDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalency; or one-year related experience with Polar or Saber cutting machines in a manufacturing environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred\nCRITICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to read and comprehend job assignment tickets and customer instructional specifications\nBasic computer knowledge\nEffectively communicate with all members of the organization\nExcellent attention to detail\nQuality, production, and team oriented\nMechanically inclined\nAbility to adapt to schedule changes based on the needs of production\nAbility to cross train and work in other departments and/or machines\n4over Company History:\n4over was founded in February of 2001.
