This role will focus on maintaining SQL Server tasks related to data management for their clients' Data Repository and Data Warehouse. The ideal candidate should have a deep technical skill set, advanced knowledge of SQL Server applications, and excellent communication skills.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and maintain complex SSIS packages and SSRS reports for financial applications.\nManage database object deployments and version control.\nCollaborate with DBAs to design, implement, and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.\nSupport application teams in database development, automation, and job scheduling.\nEnsure data integrity between different environments.\nWork closely with the development team to provide support for database objects and perform code reviews.\nSupport the build and deployment processes, including packaging of database objects and documentation.\nEssential Qualifications:\nStrong technical and analytical skills in designing and developing reporting and analytical processes for financial applications.\nAn understanding of the financial services sector.\nEffective communication skills, both with technical peers and management.\nAdvanced knowledge of SQL Server applications and related tools (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS). Experience with Snowflake is a must.\nSolid grasp of system architecture concepts and best practices.\nBachelors Degree in computer/information sciences or equivalent.\nRequired Skills/Competencies:\nDesire to excel as a Database Developer.\nMinimum of three (3) years of experience as a Database Developer/Programmer.\nProficiency in data warehousing environments.\nExperience with SSRS, SSIS, and Snowflake.\nGood understanding of .NET technologies.\nStrong technical documentation skills.\nPlease Note: This is a telecommute role with a requirement to spend one day per week in the office.
