This role demands a strong foundation in .NET and working knowledge of Java or Python. You will work within cross-functional teams to develop scalable, cloud-native solutions and contribute to delivering measurable business value..\nStart date: ASAP, Contract role: Upto 45 hours per week\nDuration: Upto first week of Feb 2027\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using .NET and Java or Python\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features\nImplement and maintain unit tests; follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices where applicable\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives\nSet up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and integration\nUse Git for version control and actively contribute to code reviews\nWork on Azure or Google Cloud Platform (preferred), or other cloud services such as AWS.\nQualifications\n4+ years of hands-on experience with .NET core (C#)\n.NET Version 5 or older and should be proficient in development.\nStrong understanding of object-oriented programming\nExperienced in upgrading legacy .NET Framework applications to modern .NET, integrating agentic development workflows, and delivering robust, cloud-ready solutions.\nFamiliar with various design and architectural patterns\nKnowledge of concurrency patterns\nFamiliarity with Microsoft SQL Server.\nExperience with Entity frameworks\nKnack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code\nUnderstanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application\nExperience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes\nBasic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds\nExperience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests\nProficient understanding of code versioning tools gitlab,github\nFamiliarity with unit testing frameworks and TDD methodologies.\nExperience with CI/CD tools, and Agile software development practices.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.\nExcellent communication and problem-solving skills.\nA Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related, or equivalent work experience required\nPlease note, we cannot sponsor or transfer any visas, of any kind, at this time.\n66degrees is an Equal Opportunity employer.
