Working in close collaboration with client teams, project stakeholders, and US practice leadership, you will ensure seamless cross-border delivery and drive technical innovation, quality, and operational excellence across India-based engineering teams.\n\nResponsibilities: \nDelivery Execution: Oversee software delivery execution, quality assurance, and project milestones across all India-based software engineering teams.\nWorkforce and Utilisation: Manage headcount, capacity planning, bench utilization, and team allocation for the India practice.\nCapability Development: Drive technical capability strategy, skills growth, and Google Cloud certifications for the India engineering organisation.\nOperational Excellence: Establish quality standards, coding protocols, and continuous improvement in software delivery processes.\nLocal Talent and People Leadership: Lead local hiring, performance management, merit reviews, and employee retention/culture in India.\nGlobal Delivery Quality and Consistency: Jointly ensure unified delivery standards and high execution quality across global engagements.\n\nRequirements: \nProven experience (8+ years) in software engineering, with a strong focus on enterprise-scale application development in cloud computing environments.\n5+ years of leadership experience managing software development teams, with demonstrated success in global delivery models and cross-border / matrix management under collaborative execution structures.\nExtensive experience in software architecture design, including cloud-native application development principles and best practices.\nSolid understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including App Engine, Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and Kubernetes.\nProficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js, and experience with frameworks like Spring Boot or Django.\nStrong knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.\nExcellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience managing and leading development teams, including remote and distributed teams.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.\nGoogle Cloud certifications (such as Google Cloud Certified -
