Access unlimited LinkedIn Learning courses and invest in your personal and professional development\nThe role\nOur Power BI Developer is responsible for ensuring that relevant insights are conveyed to the business using a suitable medium, and in a method which is clear, concise and easy to understand.\nYou will work with all stakeholders, gathering requirements and delivering insight and reporting solutions through innovative use of analysis and information presentation. Provide expert knowledge and guidance relating to data analysis and presentation.\nDevelop reporting, analytics and dashboard solutions that leverage the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) to provide actionable insights into 7-Eleven’s operations and other key business performance metrics.\nWe need you to:\nCreate functional and technical design documents in collaboration with 7-Eleven and Support Vendor Engineers.\n\nLead or participate in functional and business requirements gathering sessions.\n\nDesign, develop and optimise the Power BI models measures and dimensions suited for immediate and future requirements.\n\nUtilise Power BI to analyse large datasets and present compelling insights in appropriate visual formats - such as infographics, maps and other multidimensional charts and dashboards.\n\nSupports the development and ongoing execution of the enterprise data quality management strategy.\n\nSupporting 7-Eleven’s Enterprise Architecture by adhering to architecture standards, patterns, policies and principles.\n\nUnderstand 7-Eleven’s Information Security, Identity and Access Management and Privacy policies and is responsible for ensuring that controls are being effectively managed.\n\nConfiguration, data requirements and test plans to satisfy functional unit tests, regression tests and system integration tests.\n\nWhat’s in your toolkit\nTechnology or IT background\n\nExtensive experience in Power BI or another market leading visualisation tool covering analytics and report development, data model optimisation and the tool administration\n\nFamiliarity with the agile ways and delivery method\n\nA can-do attitude and good communication skills\n\nAt 7-Eleven our people are at the heart of everything we do.
