Duties may also include trailer staging, yard moves, and supporting daily transportation operations.\nWe are looking for a flexible, reliable driver who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of customer service, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced transportation environment.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nOperate company-owned trucks and trailers for linehaul transportation and/or local pickups and deliveries.\nTransport freight throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia based on operational requirements.\nComplete scheduled pickups, deliveries, and freight transfers safely and efficiently.\nPerform trailer staging, yard moves, equipment positioning, and dock-related activities as required.\nLoad, unload, and secure freight as required, including lifting up to 50 lbs.\nComplete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment defects promptly.\nMaintain accurate Bills of Lading (BOLs), Proofs of Delivery (PODs), electronic logs, and other required transportation documentation.\nCommunicate effectively with Dispatch regarding schedules, delays, delivery issues, and equipment concerns.\nFollow all company safety policies and applicable transportation regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS).\nMaintain clean, safe, and properly operated equipment.\nAdapt to changing routes, schedules, and daily operational requirements.\nWhat You Bring to the Table\nValid Class 1 driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.\n Minimum 2 years of recent experience operating heavy commercial trucks (Required).\n Ability and willingness to operate throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan(Required) and British Columbia.\nExperience operating tractor-trailers in varying highway, urban, and weather conditions.\nStrong understanding of load securement, Hours of Service regulations, and commercial vehicle safety.\nComfortable using electronic logging devices (ELDs).\nAbility to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow Dispatch instructions.\nPhysically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing loading and unloading duties.\nReliable, punctual, flexible, and committed to providing excellent customer service.\nMust have a smartphone with a data plan (cell phone allowance provided).\nMust successfully complete a criminal record check and company road test.\nWork Schedule & Availability\nFull-time, 5 days per week.\n8-10 hour shifts, depending on operational requirements.\nFlexible start and finish times based on assigned routes and schedules.\nMust be available for linehaul and/or local pickup and delivery assignments.\nMust be willing to travel throughout AB, SK, and BC as required.\nAdditional hours may be required based on business needs, subject to applicable Hours of Service regulations.\nWhat We Provide\nComprehensive training and ongoing operational support.\nCareer growth and advancement opportunities.\nWeekly direct deposit.\nEmployer-paid cell phone allowance.\nRRSP benefits.\nEmployee incentive and recognition programs.\nA team-focused environment that values safety, reliability, and professionalism.\nPosition Details\nJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent\nPay: $28.00 per hour\nLocation: Calgary, Alberta (Home Base)\nSchedule: 5 days per week, typically 8-10 hours per day\nWork Assignment: Linehaul and/or Local Pickups & Deliveries\nOperating Area: Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia\nReady to Join Our Team?\nIf you are an experienced Class 1 driver who takes pride in safe driving, reliability, and delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you.\nJoin 7-Eleven Distribution Canada Corp. and become part of a transportation team committed to safety, accountability, and operational excellence.\nIf an hourly or salary range is included in this ad it represents the range 7-Eleven in good faith believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
