This position serves as a critical bridge between learning strategy and execution, ensuring new field leaders receive consistent, high-quality training experiences that accelerate their time-to-productivity and align with organizational standards. The role requires close collaboration with Field Operations, Human Resources, Learning & Development teams, and senior leadership to continuously improve the onboarding journey. This position plays a vital role in building leadership capability and driving operational excellence across the field organization.\nKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nOwn the design and continuous improvement of end-to-end onboarding curriculum and learning experiences for field leaders, incorporating adult learning principles and best practices in leadership development\nManage the implementation and delivery of field leader onboarding programs across multiple regions, ensuring consistency and quality of the learning experience\nPartner with Field Operations leadership to identify performance gaps and translate business priorities and field needs into actionable learning solutions and program enhancements\nCoordinate with subject matter experts to create and maintain relevant, engaging content including facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and digital learning assets\nMonitor and analyze program effectiveness through data collection, learner feedback, assessment results, and performance metrics to connect learning outcomes to field performance and drive continuous improvement\nPartner with facilitators to ensure effective program delivery by conducting train-the-trainer sessions, calibrating on content and facilitation standards, and incorporating delivery feedback into ongoing program improvements\nFacilitate stakeholder meetings and working sessions to gather requirements, present program updates, and secure buy-in for onboarding initiatives\nManage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure onboarding programs launch on schedule and within scope\nCollaborate with Learning Technology teams to leverage learning management systems and digital platforms for program delivery and tracking\nDevelop and maintain relationships with internal partners and vendors to support program execution and resource needs\nCreate communication plans and materials to promote onboarding programs and ensure field leaders and their managers understand program expectations and benefits\nSupport change management efforts related to onboarding process improvements and new program rollouts\nMaintain program documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge repositories to ensure sustainability and scalability of onboarding solutions\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nEDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred\nYEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 3+ years\nYEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years\nCERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: N/A\nSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:\nStrong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM), and learning evaluation frameworks (Kirkpatrick)\nProficiency with learning management systems (LMS), virtual learning platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom), and digital authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Mindsmith, Camtasia, Adobe InDesign), with the ability to quickly learn and leverage new learning technologies\nExperience with project management methodologies and tools to track deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder communications\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences including executives and field personnel\nStrong facilitation and stakeholder management skills with ability to build credibility and influence across organizational levels\nAnalytical mindset with ability to interpret learning data, performance metrics, and feedback to drive program improvements\nHighly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and collaboration tools\nKnowledge of retail operations, field leadership roles, and convenience store industry dynamics strongly preferred\nAbility to work independently as a self-starter while also collaborating effectively in cross-functional team environments\nCreative problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach to addressing learning and performance challenges\nFlexibility and adaptability to adjust programs and approaches based on changing business needs and learner feedback\nIf an hourly or salary range is included in this ad it represents the range 7-Eleven in good faith believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
