This is a hands-on engineering role suited for security professionals who enjoy building, operating, and improving security controls while partnering closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams.\nYou’ll play a key role in strengthening our network security posture as we continue to modernize using cloud-native technologies, Zero Trust principles, and automation-driven practices.\nKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:\nNetwork & Cloud Security Engineering\nDesign, deploy, and maintain network security solutions across enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments\nEngineer and support:Next-generation firewalls and network segmentation\nSecure connectivity solutions (site-to-site and remote access)\nNetwork access control, secure DNS, and traffic inspection\n\nImplement and support security controls aligned with Zero Trust and least-privilege access models\nMonitoring, Detection & Incident Response\nMonitor network security platforms for threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalous behavior\nRespond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions\nReview logs and telemetry data to improve visibility and detection\nParticipate in a 24x7 on-call rotation supporting critical incidents\nVulnerability & Risk Management\nIdentify, prioritize, and remediate network security vulnerabilities\nImplement compensating controls where full remediation is not immediately possible\nParticipate in security design and architecture reviews for new systems and integrations\nSupport regulatory and compliance requirements such as PCI-DSS and data privacy standards\nAutomation & Continuous Improvement\nLeverage scripting and automation to improve reliability and efficiency of security operations\nContribute to Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD security integrations where appropriate\nAssist with proof-of-concept testing and evaluation of new security tools and technologies\nCollaboration & Documentation\nPartner with network, cloud, DevOps, and application teams to integrate security into designs and deployments\nProvide guidance on network security best practices and emerging threats\nMaintain clear documentation for configurations, standards, and incident response activities\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nEDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree or equivalent experience\nYEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5+ years\nCERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: Vendor or vendor-neutral security certifications such as: PCNSE, CCNP Security, CISSP, GIAC, CEH-or equivalent experience\nSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:\nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of:Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, segmentation)\nFirewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network security monitoring tools\nLog analysis, SIEM integration, and security telemetry\n\nWorking familiarity with:Cloud networking and security concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP)\nZero Trust architecture concepts\nAutomation or scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar)\n\nThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by the individuals assigned to this job.
