Specifically, the Senior Financial Analyst will assist with tracking and analyzing operating expense, capital expense, and marketing investment versus the annual budget and monthly forecast. Additionally, the analyst will support ongoing reforecasting and month-end close, including consolidating accruals and expense reclasses. The Senior Financial Analyst will be in a high visibility position and will collaborate with executives as well as with all other levels of the organization. The successful analyst will quickly become a subject matter expert across their assigned portfolio of departments and initiatives, providing accurate, timely, detailed, and actionable financial analyses.\nConsolidate actual spend metrics, monitoring spend versus budget and recommending corrective actions\nProvide financial advisory services to cross-functional teams and contribute to strategy determination discussions\nPartner with Marketing leadership to develop annual budgets and forecasts for media, loyalty, digital, and brand\nMeasure marketing performance using financial and operational metrics, including return on marketing investment, incremental sales and margin\nDevelop recurring dashboards and post-investment analyses that compare actual results with plans, identify key performance drivers, and recommend actions to improve spend effectiveness and profitability\nPerform financial and accounting analysis with intention of optimizing reporting accuracy and integrity\nSupport monthly forecast, cumulative spend, month-end accrual, and month-end reclass processes\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nEducation: Bachelor's/ 4 Year Degree\nRequired: 3+ years of related analytical experience\nPreferred: Experience supporting marketing finance\nRequired: Verifiable & Advanced Excel modeling, large dataset manipulation, and visualization skillsets\nEntrepreneurial mindset: take ownership of your role and contributions; think like an executive or corporate investor; possess team mentality, can-do work ethic, and showcase integrity in all situations\nExecutive presence and ability to build rapport and pursue strong working relationships with all stakeholders\nAbility to work in a cross-functional environment while balancing multiple projects, tasks, and ad hoc requests\nIf an hourly or salary range is included in this ad it represents the range 7-Eleven in good faith believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
