This role ensures high availability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems and collaboration platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise across infrastructure and cloud SaaS services, along with strong leadership capabilities to drive innovation, reliability, and cost efficiency.\nKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:\nLeadership and StrategyDefine and execute a comprehensive infrastructure strategy spanning data centers and Microsoft 365 services\nLead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams including data center engineers and M365 administrators\nEstablish governance, policies, and standards across infrastructure and collaboration platforms\nPartner with business and IT leaders to align technology investments with organizational goals\nDrive roadmap planning for hybrid infrastructure, cloud adoption, and modern workplace initiatives\n\nOperations and Service DeliveryEnsure 24/7 availability, reliability, and performance of data center and Microsoft 365 services\nOversee incident, problem, and change management processes across platforms\nManage SLAs, KPIs, and service health metrics for both infrastructure and M365 services Lead service continuity, backup, and disaster recovery strategies\nImplement automation and operational efficiencies across environments\n\nInfrastructure & Data Center ManagementOversee servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms\nManage lifecycle planning, capacity management, and hardware refresh initiatives\nLead data center migrations, consolidations, and modernization efforts\nEnsure optimal performance of compute, storage, and network resources Evaluate and integrate emerging infrastructure technologies\n\nMicrosoft Services ManagementOwn administration and optimization of Microsoft 365\nEnsure service availability, performance, and user experience for collaboration tools\nOversee licensing, tenant configuration, and service adoption strategies\nDrive governance for data retention, information protection, and compliance within M365\n\nFacilities & Vendor ManagementManage relationships with data center providers, Microsoft, and other vendors\nOversee physical infrastructure including power, cooling, and physical security\nEnsure vendor and SaaS provider performance meets SLAs and contractual obligations\nManage procurement, contracts, and licensing agreements\n\nSecurity & ComplianceEnsure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards\nMaintain physical and logical security across data center and M365 platforms\nSupport audits, risk assessments, and remediation efforts\n\nFinancial ManagementDevelop and manage budgets for data center operations and Microsoft 365 services\nOptimize costs across infrastructure, licensing, and cloud services\nProvide financial forecasting and ROI analysis for technology investments\nIdentify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nEDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience\nYEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 10-15 years\nYEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 5 - 7+ years\nCERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Azure certifications Preferred)\nSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:\nStrong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, virtualization)\nHands-on or leadership experience managing Microsoft 365 environments\nExperience with hybrid environments integrating on-prem data centers and cloud/SaaS platforms\nFamiliarity with automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code\nStrategic thinking and transformation leadership\nStrong team leadership and cross-functional collaboration\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management\nDeep problem-solving and incident management expertise\nIf an hourly or salary range is included in this ad it represents the range 7-Eleven in good faith believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
