Overview
Security and IT leaders won't take an AI platform's claims on faith. They need someone who can prove, hands-on, that it holds up against their real threat landscape before they trust it with SOC work. You'll join 7AI as a Senior Sales Engineer, one of the first senior hires on our go-to-market team. You'll lead technical discovery, design solutions, and explain the business value of our AI-powered cybersecurity platform to both technical and executive stakeholders. You'll partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success, and your work will help shape how we engage customers and where the product goes next.
What You'll Do
Own and lead technical sales discussions for high-value customer engagements.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior IT and security executives, understanding their threat landscape and technology environment.
Design and deliver technical demonstrations and POCs that show what sets the 7AI platform apart.
Work with Product and Engineering to turn customer feedback into product features and roadmap priorities.
Tailor solutions during Proof of Value to support long-term customer success.
Mentor junior Sales Engineers and contribute to team development.
Represent 7AI at industry conferences, panels, and partner events as a technical subject matter expert.
Improve pre-sales processes, tools, and documentation to support scale.
What We're Looking For
6+ years of experience in cybersecurity-focused Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
A track record of success in complex B2B enterprise sales, ideally at a fast-paced startup.
Expert knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and today's threat landscape.
Experience working with or advocating for AI/ML technologies in security.
Strong communication skills, able to tailor technical topics for both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
A track record in scripting, engineering, customization, or implementation.
