As we continue to grow, we’re investing in the next generation of our platform and are looking for experienced engineers who want to help shape its future.\nWhat you'll do:\nAutomate deployment, monitoring, and management for 100% AWS cloud based infrastructure\nDevelop, implement and own developer focused internal tooling and automation as your product\nShare in new feature design as the cloud SME supporting container/k8s first designs\nCreate and maintain automated Ci/CD pipelines that streamline the release process and ensure high-quality code is delivered rapidly and continuously in a safe and compliant manner\nDevelop, manage and enhance the Internal Developer and Production Platforms achieving maximum availability and stability metrics\nCollaborate with developers to identify pain points and bottlenecks in the development process and design and implement solutions that improve the developer experience and increase overall productivity\nPut together comprehensive onboarding programs and training resources to seamlessly integrate new developers into the organization\nParticipate in an on-call rotation and provide emergency support occasionally outside of normally scheduled hours as needed\nEvolve and extend observability tools and systems to determine and resolve performance and usability issues\nAbout you:\n5+ years of professional technical experience in software engineering, AWS cloud operations or a related function.\n3+ years of experience within a DevOps, INF or Platform Engineering role\nExperience implementing and maintaining kubernetes specific Ci/CD pipelines using CircleCI (preferred), ArgoCD (preferred), Jenkins, Github Actions, Gitlab, Azure Devops, etc.\nExperience creating internal tooling that supports developer productivity\nExperience designing and implementing automated development environments\nDocumented experience provisioning and managing infrastructure in a public cloud environment such as AWS (heavily preferred), Google Cloud Platform, or Azure\nExperience with Linux container technologies, such as Docker, OCI, LXC and ability to administer, build and deploy images in an automated manner.\nSolid understanding of how a Kubernetes platform operates (service discovery, deployments, monitoring, scheduling, load balancing)\nProficiency in at least one, ideally more of the following programming or scripting languages: Ruby, Python, Java, Javascript (NodeJS), Bash\nExperience utilizing Infrastructure as Code to provision and maintain infrastructure: Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation\nWorking understanding of relational database systems such as MySQL (preferred) and PostgreSQL\nExperience with Kafka on an MSK environment is a plus\nExperience with ElasticSearch is a plus\nExperience with generative and agentic AI in an infrastructure management and implementation perspective is a plus \nBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n\nDemonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation.\nAdditional Information\nThe monthly gross salary range for this position is CZK 120,000 to CZK 150,000. 8am is committed to fair, objective, and non-discriminatory compensation, and actual pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.\nWhy join our new 8am Brno hub?\nFounding Team Impact: Be a founding engineer of our new Czech Republic R&D hub.
