We have been recognized as one of Inc 5000’s fastest growing companies in the U.S. for 13 years in a row, and as a result, our teams continue to grow as well!\nWhat you'll do:\nOwn the configuration, support, and customization of our Salesforce instance and its integrations, serving as the escalation point for the most complex issues.\nLead the Salesforce roadmap with business and technical stakeholders, from discovery to launch: uncover the real problem, translate requirements into clear designs, and balance quick wins against long-term platform health.\nServe as the subject matter expert in business process design: evaluate how teams work today, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and redesign processes so that Salesforce supports them rather than just mirroring them.\nSet standards for a scalable, well-governed org architecture, including the data model, page layouts, validation rules, and automation, and guide the team in applying them.\nBuild with Flow and declarative tools first, make sound build-versus-code decisions, and partner with developers or contribute to Apex and Lightning Web Components when code is the better fit.\nOwn security design across profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing settings, and lead periodic access reviews.\nCoach and mentor junior admins through design and configuration reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing, helping them grow their skills and capabilities.\nLead complex, cross-functional projects from scoping through delivery, keeping stakeholders and leadership informed.\nDeliver fast, friendly user support and monitor data quality and system health, tracing issues to the root cause and implementing permanent fixes.\nDefine and continually improve our change management process: every change is documented, reviewed, and approved before moving through QA, UAT, and production, supported by sound sandbox strategy and deployment practices.\nOwn release quality by setting testing standards and ensuring functional, regression, and UAT testing happen before anything reaches production.\nIdentify and adopt practical AI capabilities, in Salesforce and beyond, to improve admin productivity and user outcomes, and help the team use them responsibly.\nKeep documentation current, build training that grows Salesforce skills across 8am, and stay on top of Salesforce releases, recommending improvements with a long-term mindset.\nAbout you:\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.\n4+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator; Salesforce Administrator certification preferred; advanced certifications (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Consultant) a plus.\nStrong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and the ability to understand how teams work and translate their needs into well-defined, testable solutions.\nDemonstrated experience mentoring junior team members and leading projects or initiatives, formally or informally.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with business leaders, non-technical teams, and engineers.\nA bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.\nStrong ability to diagnose issues to the root cause, prioritize competing requests, and deliver lasting fixes.\nExpert command of Flow and declarative tools, with a track record of designing scalable, maintainable automation.\nWorking knowledge of Apex and Lightning Web Components, enough to review code, understand governor limits, and contribute when needed.\nDeep understanding of the Salesforce data and security models: objects, fields, record types, permission sets, roles, and sharing.\nExperience with API-based integrations, including designing, monitoring, and troubleshooting connections between Salesforce and other systems, plus release management experience (sandbox strategy, Salesforce DX or change sets, Git-based workflows).\nCuriosity about AI and a habit of testing new tools to work faster and better.\n\nDemonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation.\nDiversity, equity & inclusion at 8am:\nAt 8am, we recognize that innovation occurs with a strong team of people who are diverse in background, personality, talent and ideas.
