This position is suited to an engineer who enjoys working across platform, infrastructure, and data environments while partnering closely with developers and engineering teams to improve performance and resolve issues effectively.\nResponsibilities\nAdminister, secure, and optimize Azure data services across Development, Test, Pre-production, and Production environments, including Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Cosmos DB, ADLS Gen2, Event Hub, Key Vault, Function Apps, Logic Apps, and App Services.\nProvision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and ARM templates, including VNets, subnets, service endpoints, and private endpoints.\nOperate containerized workloads with Docker and AKS.\nImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.\nDesign backup, disaster recovery, and failover solutions for critical workloads.\nSchedule and monitor job flows, troubleshoot failed Databricks and Data Factory jobs, and implement root-cause fixes.\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Jenkins.\nAutomate provisioning, scaling, and operations using Python and shell scripts.\nMonitor VM resources and logs, plan Azure capacity, and advise developers on job and workflow performance improvements.\nRequirements\nRequirements\n5+ years of hands-on experience administering Azure data platforms for data workloads, including Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Cosmos DB and Event Hub, plus Terraform-based infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.\nHands-on experience administering Azure platform and data engineering services.\nExperience with distributed systems and streaming tools such as Event Hub.\nStrong Terraform and ARM template skills.\nExperience with Docker and AKS.\nAutomation skills in Python and shell scripting, plus Jenkins and Azure DevOps.\nExperience designing Azure CI/CD pipelines.\nStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.\nKnowledge of agile delivery.\nExperience working closely with developers and data engineers to improve the performance of jobs and pipelines, troubleshoot failed workloads, and collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.\nBased in Jordan.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is a plus.\nExperience supporting enterprise data platforms in multi-environment setups, including Development, Test, Pre-production, and Production, is a plus.\nExperience in regulated environments such as banking, healthcare, insurance, or telecom is a plus.\nExperience in offshore delivery or managed services teams is a plus.\nExperience supporting client-facing or managed-service environments is a plus.\nKnowledge of Tableau and Power BI is a plus.\nExperience with other cloud platforms beyond Azure is a
