We welcome new members to join and grow along with our team!\nResponsibilities:\nOperate equipment in a safe manner following DOT regulations and company policies and regulations.\nInspect loads for safe transportation.\nDrive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport goods to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.\nEnsure placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations.\nMaintain paperwork including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets.\nInspect equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.\nSecure cargo prior to and during transit.\nNotify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered or recommended.\nOperates loading, storing, and securement devices such as pallet jacks, forklifts, power pallet jacks/riders, and moving-related equipment such as dollies and lift levers to load and unload supplies, freight, foods, material, equipment, and mail.\nEnsuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.\nIdentify and report workplace safety hazards\nPerform other duties as assigned by managers.\nQualifications:\nMust have Class A Driver License without restrictions and limitations, including a current DOT Medical cert.\nAbility to pass a road test (manual trucks).\nAt least 1 year satisfactory driving record as obtained from the California Department of Motor Vehicles.\n1-2 years of driver experience in warehouse/ logistics/ shipping.\nExperience in handling product barcodes preferred.\nExperience in hauling reefer trailers is preferred.\nExperience in pallet jack and forklift is preferred.\nExperience backing 48' to 53' trailers (including in tight spaces and to dock doors)\nMust possess the ability to read, understand and communicate verbally in English.\nThis position must pass a pre-hire background check and DOT drug test.\nBilingual English/Mandarin or English/ Spanish preferred.\nAuthorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThis job may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 25 pounds, and performing repetitive motions.\nProlonged sitting while driving long distances.\nStanding for a long period of time, including bending and kneeling regularly.\nWorking Conditions:\nThis job is performed in an environment that may have exposure to heat, noise, and other environmental factors.\nPosition Details:\nEmployment type: Full Time\nLocation: 6338 Regio Ave., Buena Park, CA 90620\nYardgoat Driver: Tues- Sat : 6:00am-2:00pm\nClass A Driver: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 5:30am - 3:00pm\nAvailable to work on weekends, holidays or rotating schedules.\nBenefits:\nMedical, Dental, and Life Insurance\n401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with 4% Company Match\nLong-Term Service Award\nEmployee Discount\nPaid Time Off\nCompensation:\nThe pay range for this job starts at $24 per hour.
