This position also provides operational HR support to improve workforce planning, employee engagement, and warehouse performance.\nArea of Responsibility\nWarehouse HR Support\nJersey City Walong Distribution Center\n\nIllinois Walong Distribution Center\n\nAtlanta Walong Distribution Center\n\nMaryland Walong Distribution Center\n\nNew York Welcome Warehouse\n\nRetail Operations HR Support\nEast Coast Retail Store Operations (including support for Regional Directors of Operations and Store Management teams across the East Coast region)\n\nEssential Responsibilities\nWarehouse HR Business Support (50%)\nPartner with DC Managers and warehouse supervisors on day-to-day HR matters.\n\nCoordinate and support recruitment for hourly and warehouse management positions.\n\nConduct onboarding and new hire orientation.\n\nProcess employee status changes, transfers, promotions, and terminations.\n\nAssist with employee relations matters, investigations, coaching documentation, and corrective action administration.\n\nSupport employee engagement and retention initiatives.\n\nEnsure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and HR procedures.\n\nCoordinate required warehouse safety and compliance training.\n\nSupport OSHA documentation and HR compliance audits.\n\nConduct periodic HR audits for warehouse locations.\n\nServe as the primary HR contact for routine employee inquiries and provide guidance on company policies and procedures.\n\nRetail Store Operations Support (50%)\nPartner with Regional Directors of Operations (RDO), and Store Managers to provide ongoing HR support for daily retail operations.\n\nSupport store leadership with recruitment planning, interview coordination, onboarding, and workforce planning to ensure appropriate employee’s levels.\n\nAssist managers with employee coaching, corrective actions, investigations, and performance documentation in accordance with company policies.\n\nConduct regular store visits to build relationships, identify HR and operational needs, and provide on-site support and coaching.\n\nSupport employee engagement, retention initiatives, and recognition programs to foster a positive work environment.\n\nCoordinate training activities and monitor onboarding and required training completion for store employees.\n\nParticipate in operational improvement initiatives and provide HR support for new store openings, remodels, staffing transitions, and other business projects.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.\n\n2-4 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environment.\n\nKnowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.\n\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\nExperience using Microsoft Office applications.\n\nAbility to travel periodically to warehouse locations as business needs require.\n\nEnglish is required; Chinese and/or Spanish proficiency is highly preferred.\n\nCompensation:\nThe pay range for this job starts at $25-$28 per hour.
