We welcome new members to grow alongside with the family.\nSummary:\nThe purpose of this position is to support the Shipping Department by ensuring all outbound orders are picked accurately and meet outbound quality standards before shipment. The Outbound Quality Control Clerk is responsible for verifying product quality, quantities, lot rotation, labeling, and order accuracy while identifying and documenting discrepancies. This role helps reduce shipping errors, improve customer and store satisfaction, and maintain inventory accuracy.\nResponsibilities:\nVerify picked orders against the picking ticket to ensure correct product, quantity, pallet build, and customer/store order accuracy.\nPerform quality inspections on outbound orders before shipment, including checks for damage and temperature.\nEnsure products meet customer specifications, company quality standards, and secure pallet configuration.\nVerify FIFO/FEFO rotation, lot numbers, production dates, and expiration dates.\nConfirm accuracy of labels, customer tags, pallet labels, and shipping labels.\nReport picking errors, inventory discrepancies, damaged products, short picks, over picks, or incorrect substitutions to the Shipping Supervisor immediately.\nDocument QC inspection results and maintain accurate quality records, including photographs.\nCoordinate with Pickers, Team Leads, Shipping Supervisors, Inventory Control, and other internal teams to resolve discrepancies before orders are loaded. Place incorrect or damaged products on hold and verify corrective action is completed before shipment.\nConduct random audits of completed orders to monitor picking accuracy and provide feedback.\nAssist with investigations of customer complaints related to shipping accuracy or product quality.\nMaintain a clean QC area while following all food safety, HACCP, GMP, and workplace safety procedures.\nComplete inspections efficiently to achieve high verification accuracy and minimize incorrect shipments.\nCommunicate discrepancies promptly and professionally to ensure continuous improvement.\nPerform other quality assurance or related duties as assigned by the QC Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, or management.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nBasic computer skills.\nAbility to accurately count products and verify quantities.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious warehouse or produce experience preferred.\nPrevious Quality Control or Shipping experience preferred.\nKnowledge of produce grading and quality standards preferred.\nUnderstanding of FIFO/FEFO inventory practices preferred.\nExperience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or RF scanners preferred.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand and walk for up to 8 hours. \nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds. \nAbility to bend, twist, reach, kneel, and squat throughout the shift.\nWorking Conditions:\nComfortable working in refrigerated warehouse environments when required. \nAbility to work in a fast-paced shipping environment.\nPosition Details:\nEmployment Type: Full Time\nLocation: 6338 Regio Ave., Buena Park, CA 90620\nSchedule: Monday - Friday; 8-hour shift scheduled between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM, based on business needs.\nBenefits:\nMedical, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance\n401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with up to 4% Company Match\nLong-Term Service Award\nEmployee Discount\nPaid Time Off\nCompensation:\nThe pay range for this job is between $19 - 22 per hour.
