With our new expansion strategy and efforts in our cross-generational transition to continue growing our footprint across the country, we welcome YOU to join and grow alongside our family!\nJob Duties:\nSet up fresh seafood cases and ensure products have proper signage and are well-merchandised following company standards; showcase quality and freshness to drive sales in the department\n\nKeep aisles and common walking areas clean/cleared of boxes and debris to prevent injury\n\nUnload and break down deliveries. Refill products to meet customer needs and rotate for freshness\n\nSkin, clean, and cut fish upon customers’ request. Frying and/or steaming seafood products upon request by using the fryer and steamer. Change fryer oil and clean fryer and steamer on a daily basis\n\nUse equipment appropriately and keep accurate logs in accordance with all company policies and state food safety and health regulations\n\nStock, ship and distribute product items to production teams. Follow the First-In First-Out (FIFO) method. Monitor the cooler/freezer temperature to ensure that company standards and required regulations are followed\n\nProactively reach out to customers. Provide excellent service to customers\n\nWork with other team members to conduct monthly inventory count\n\nClean seafood tanks and change appliances on a regular basis to maintain freshness and quality of products, and maintain the cleanliness of seafood tanks\n\nFollow the company policy to clean the walk-in cooler and freezer, clean and sanitize display cases, scales and counters in a safe manner, and maintain work areas clean\n\nInspect quality of seafood products and remove any unmarketable items to keep the overall appeal of the department\n\nCut, wrap, pack the items at the customer's request accurately and efficiently\n\nPerform other duties as for business needs\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nPrevious seafood department experience is preferred\n\nKnowledge of general seafood product lines or similar experience\n\nAvailable to work on weekends and holidays or rotating schedules\n\nSkills Requirements:\nAbility to communicate effectively to customers and team members\n\nAbility to follow instructions, procedures, and other company policies\n\nAbility to inspect and evaluate the quality of products\n\nRequires proper training and knowledge of equipment operation\n\nPhysical Demands\nStanding for extended periods is commonly required\n\nGood manual dexterity for the use of processing equipment such as cutter or labeling\n\nLifting items weighing 30 lbs or more with appropriate equipment\n\nAble to work occasionally with environment temperatures ranging from 32º to 50°F\n\nEmployment Type: Part-Time\nSalary:\nThe pay range for this job is $17 / Hr. - $19 / Hr.
