The ideal candidate will have experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications, automating workflows, and integrating with third-party systems to enhance business operations. This role requires a strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITASM), and other ServiceNow modules. \nProfessional Level Information: \nA ServiceNow Developeraligns within 9thway Insignia as an Engineer 2. An Engineer 2 typically plans and directs research or development work on complex projects, along with engaging various parties in design and development. Costs and recommendations of new components may also involve part of the job scope.Performs multiple engineering-related tasks in various assignments within the project and firm. \n Responsibilities \nDesign, configure, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions based on business requirements. \nCustomize ServiceNow applications, including workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and ACLs. \nDevelop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs. \nImplement ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, and CMDB. \nPerform system upgrades, patches, and releases in coordination with ServiceNow best practices. \nWork closely with Product Owners, Business Analyst, and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and demo completed configurations. \nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including system design and configuration guides. \nTroubleshoot issues, debug scripts, and provide ongoing support to ensure platform stability. \nFollow Agile development methodologies and participate in sprints, standups, and retrospectives. \nStay up-to-date with ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices. \nRequirements \n Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or 5 years equivalent work experience). \n Experience: \n3+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer. \nStrong expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Jelly, AngularJS). \nExperience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and OAuth. \nFamiliarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Business Rules. \nKnowledge of ITIL processes and how they align with ServiceNow ITSM. \nPreferred/Desired \nServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, ITSM Implementation Specialist). \nSalary Range\n$78,522.52—$111,784.72 USD\n9th Way Insignia’s range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
