An Engineer 3 oversees the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. An Engineer 3 has broad knowledge of engineering procedures and assists in the resolution of complex problems. An Engineer 3 has strong technical skills and background, a knack for learning new technologies, and a blend of good problem-solving and innovation needed to resolve a wide variety of technical production challenges.\nResponsibilities:\nData warehousing, data modeling, data integration, data Migration, ETL process and Business Intelligence\nData Modeling design, analysis and implementation - conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, data conversion, data integration and data mining specialization in the area of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence\nInstalling, configuring, developing, supporting and maintaining of the BI APPS\nDeveloping ETL’s using Informatica to facilitate Extraction Transformation and data load from OLTP systems to OLAP systems\nDesigning schema using KPIs, Fact, Dimensions, Physical, Logical, Alias and Extension tables\nBuilding business model and established relationships and foreign keys (physical & logical) between tables\nCreating LDAP authentication to enable single-sign on for users in development environment leveraging analytics repository\nUsing Informatica Mapping Designer to create/update mapping using different transformations required to move data into data warehouse\nProviding recommendations and identifying critical issues and processing faults as it pertains to data modeling, ETLs and Informatica\nOther responsibilities as assigned\nRequirements:\nMaster's degree in computer science or other technical disciplines (an additional 10 years of experience can substitute for a degree).\n15+ experience in ETL tools, especially Informatica and data warehousing applications\n10+ years’ experience developing and tuning complex SQL queries in Oracle relational database\nMust be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S\nMust be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance\nLocation\nOn site in Washington DC. \nSalary Range\n$118,737—$150,000 USD\n9th Way Insignia’s range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
